Raven Hillman
​Raven Hillman brings a strong background in child welfare and family advocacy through her experience with the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR). Her work has centered on protecting children, empowering families, and promoting safe, nurturing environments for youth. At The S.I.M.S. Foundation, Raven advises on child protection practices, family engagement programs, and community-based prevention strategies that strengthen homes and reduce youth risk factors.

Juvenile Services Advisor
Candace Smith
Candace Smith serves as a Juvenile Services Advisor for the S.I.M.S. Foundation, bringing over 20 years of experience working with children and 14 years of specialized work with juvenile residents through her roles at Pathway, Inc. and Camp Mitnick. Her extensive background in behavioral programming, mentorship, and structured youth rehabilitation helps guide the foundation’s initiatives that support at-risk youth across Alabama. Candace provides trusted insight into effective intervention strategies and advocates for programs that promote growth, responsibility, and healthier decision-making for young people.

Social Work & Youth Support Advisor
Iceses Rodgers
​With extensive experience in social work and DHR case management, Iceses Rogers has spent her career advocating for children and families facing hardship. Her expertise in crisis response, youth mentorship, and family reunification adds a vital perspective to the foundation’s advocacy efforts. At The S.I.M.S. Foundation, Iceses supports outreach planning, coordinates youth resources, and guides trauma-informed approaches to serving Alabama’s most vulnerable children.

Rehabilitation & Child Wellness Advisor
Meghan Hudson
Meghan Hudson combines her background in rehabilitation services with a passion for child advocacy and family recovery. Having worked directly with both youth and adults in treatment and care programs, Meghan understands how substance abuse and instability affect children’s development. At The S.I.M.S. Foundation, she helps design wellness initiatives that focus on prevention, early intervention, and family healing—ensuring children impacted by addiction receive the care and consistency they deserve.
